Kelly Kocher & The Block House Family reside at Finally Farm Of Tryon, located at 999 Carriage Row, Tryon, NC 28782.
Our training facility boasts 45 acres of lush green pastures surrounded by 3 board fencing, private paddocks and miles of trails with beautiful mountain views.
The large fenced training arena offers all weather footing that is expertly maintained for optimum usage. Leveling the surface and irrigating the footing are part of daily ring maintenance. Enjoy schooling and lessons over our full course of show jumps with exercises and courses that change regularly to challenge our riders and help them meet their goals.
Our stable offers expert care with generously sized matted stalls. The carefully designed stable is situated to offer the horses plenty of airflow and natural light while enjoying stall time. We also offer foaling stall accommodations and services for mares in foal. Boarders enjoy usage of our large heated & air conditioned tack room with plenty of room for your equipment & tack trunk. The tack room is complete with a washer and dryer, as well as a climate controlled bathroom for your convenience. Horses enjoy 2 generous wash racks which offer overhead heat sources, as well as hot and cold water.
In addition to traditional boarding services, we also offer injury care and a rehabilitation program. Our expert staff, teams up with Tryon Equine Hospital to provide the best possible care for your horse. Our fully educated staff is available for bandage changes, wound care, and injury management. We offer premium healing modalities at our facility including Theraplate, Horsegym 2000 treadmill, Magna Wave, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Therapeutic Massage as well as access to our local aqua therapy facility. We will work with you and your vet to develop a recovery and rehabilitation program that will set you and your horse up for success.
Starting several years ago we began relocating part of our facility to Wellington in the winter. Our Florida facility is located in Loxahatchee Florida, just a short drive to the show grounds. Clients can enjoy spending all or part of the Winter Equestrian Festival with Kelly in Florida to take advantage of year round competition. Our equitation students especially enjoy the ability to get a jump start on qualifying for regional and national Medal and McClay finals.
Those who stay in Tryon will take part of our winter training program, Kelly pays meticulous attention throughout the season to our clients competitive needs and goals. Kelly develops a personalized winter program tailored to each horse and riders needs to be carried out by the assistant trainer. He pin points and focuses on problem areas so our dedicated clients can grow in confidence while wintering in Tryon and be ready to easily move up and meet their competitive goals.
We also take advantage of some of the late winter local circuits as weather and client desire permits. When mother nature’s plans get in the way of outdoor training, we make use of our treadmill to ensure the horses stay fit and happy all season long.
